Rainbow Six Siege

Crafting the new Seasons of Heavy Mettle and Deep Freeze for Players

My role

As key liaison for the global brand team for Rainbow Six Siege, I played a pivotal role in enriching the franchise’s 8-year identity through creative campaign creation, strategic content execution, and brand collaboration initiatives. This journey involved crafting player-focused visuals, creating engaging campaign assets, and ensuring a cohesive brand experience. My contributions spanned two seasonal updates—Heavy Mettle and Deep Freeze—as well as a Halloween event and a high-profile collaboration with Halo.

As a long-time fan with over 2,000 hours in the game, a chance to collaborate with the brilliant team that dreams up this tactical phenomenon was a literal dream come true!

In my role with the Rainbow Six Siege brand team, I played a pivotal part in the launch of Year 8 Season 3, Heavy Mettle.

A key highlight was introducing Ram, the new South Korean attacker equipped with the BU-GI Auto-Breacher—a deployable mini-tank that demolishes breakable surfaces and devices in its path.

Additionally, new features like the Player Commendation System, which allows players to recognize positive behavior, and the revamped Quick Match 2.0, designed for a more streamlined experience. These initiatives aimed to enhance player engagement and ensure a cohesive narrative across all platforms.

 

I helped with the management of the creatives, ensuring they aligned seamlessly with the brand tone and visual identity alongside orchestrating social media campaigns, updating the website, managing CRM email communications, and meticulously planning the content rollout (KV, trailer, teaser, anime, comic etx.)along with the wider Rainbow Six team.

Continuing my journey with Ubisoft, I had the opportunity to also contribute to the launch of the next season, Year 8 Season 4,Operation Deep Freeze.

 

This season introduced Tubarão, the new Portuguese Defender with Zoto Canisters that create freezing zones to slow enemies, alongside the intense Lair map—a secretive facility on the coast of Portugal.

We also highlighted the updated Reputation System, providing players with valuable insights into their in-game behavior along with the usual seasonal Battle Pass and features.

I took on a more immersive role in shaping the direction for the season, ensuring every visual and commmunication aligned with the brand’s core tone and narrative. Beyond managing social media campaigns and website updates, I also oversaw the full content experience, fine-tuning CRM email communications to enhance player.Through meticulous content planning and a focus on storytelling, I helped create a unified experience that kept players engaged across all platforms.

For the Doktor's Curse 5 Halloween event, I played a key role in creating a scary sequel that captured the eerie atmosphere and action of the fan favorite event.

MEMBERSHIP

Brand Collaborations

In addition to seasonal content, I also contributed to creation and promotion of visual assets for exclusive skins through collaborations with other game franchises. These collaborations, most popular being the partnership with Halo, brought unique, cross-franchise content to Rainbow Six Siege.

I worked on content that highlighted these special skins, crafting targeted messaging and managing content across various platforms to generate excitement and strengthen the connection between different gaming communities. These collaborations showcased the fusion of two iconic gaming worlds, amplifying the brand's reach and appeal, drawing in players from both communities!

My 
Role

At L’Oréal Paris, I was in charge of the Elseve /Elvive haircare brand.

This encompassed the creation and execution of marketing strategies for several of the brand’s high-profile product launches. My role involved a mix of creative and strategic responsibilities, including briefing, creation, and management of marketing content, while overseeing social media initiatives.

It was an extraordinary journey delving into the world of beauty with L’Oréal Paris—an industry giant with a rich legacy of innovation and elegance—while collaborating on campaigns featuring iconic brand ambassadors like Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne!

One of my key focus brands was the highly popular product line for Elivive, Hydra Hyaluronic. The emphasis for this range is on the hydration and moisturizing aspect. This was also the first non-makeup brand Kendall was going to be working with at L’Oréal Paris so the expectations were high. For the commercial with Kendall, we focused primarily on the transformation aspect, almost like a woman leading a double life, coupled with the strong legacy connection of the brand with the beautiful city of Paris.

This project was completed during my time at L’Oréal and are based on publicly released content from my work. Glycolic Gloss had been a hugely successful launch delivering to consumers a premium haircare package to achieve a salon-like gloss effect at home. Seeing the popularity of CGI reality-bending videos that the product-focused market was enjoying on social media, we sought to capitalize on this trend with the below productions.

Directed Product Photography for Social and Ecomm use

This was our first time working with this format, and seamlessly integrating the dynamic motion of ultra long-hair waving in the wind while ensuring it appeared natural and convincing proved to be a challenging task. Thankfully our partner agency understood our creative vision, where our desire was plain and simple: Glossy, thick hair! It turned out to be a blast on social media with people actually being slightly confused if the brand had setup an actual mass of hair in central Paris XD 

CGI

Following the success of the first video, there was no way we were going to stop there. We collaborated with another VFX agency that was actually specializing in this format and dropped the Gloss Tower on our socials! The concept was to have a megastructure next to another famous one (wink-wink) shelling out Glycolic gloss to fans using robotic arms, a nod to the innovation behind the product. A notable advantage of this format is the skeleton crew needed with just an iPhone to shoot as most of the legwork is done in post.

COLOR VIVE

Color Vive Range was one of the many ranges undergoing a reboot or restage with a new sustainable product design. I was tasked with directing a slew of new product photos highlight the new bottle design, ensuring the visuals retained the brand’s signature cherry red color identity while emphasizing the shampoo’s unique features.

Dream Lengths

With the Dream Lengths product line, I was allowed to play with more vibrant colors and shifted its positioning to a more GenZ, youthful vibe. I directed a photoshoot that showcased the serum star product emphasizing the product’s key benefits of being long-lasting and waterproofing your hair.

The most scientific of the entire Elvive range, Bond Repair was the one shoot where I got the most creative freedom and was also the most appreciated. I tried to focus on showcasing the scientific and technical aspects without using 3D CG elements. I suggested the use of textured cloths and glass marbles to show molecular layers and the chemical innovation of the product.

The Process

Faced with such a broad scope such as Change and past ,present and future I wanted to develop easy to recognize symbolism for the theme

The Past is a stationary and immutable aspect showcased by the rigidity of the halftone dots

The Present is a bright orb ready to be taken advantage of to live life to the maximum

The Future is unknown and shifting and hence blurry to the eye

Change is a fast moving element going through the orbs signfying the nature of change to affect past present and future

I was approached by some friends who were working on an application which would let content creators translate their audio to regional languages using AI

Conception

I went through a concept stage where I tried to relay the parallel of the translation of incomprehensible audio to comprehensible. The regional aspect of things is conveyed through the color scheme.

Range

Explored different shape languages to give the client different ideas of the range of styles we can explore. The core focus in this set was to display the translation aspect of the logo. My personal favorite was the 2nd one :D

Refining the basic shapes

After another conversation with the clients , where they explained what they liked in the previous designs, I came up with the following. The clients wanted to incorporate the imagery of a mic.They instantly liked the 7. concept as I had presumed and I set out to come up the final version.

Game Character Design (Rigged and Animated) -Project Cold Fusion

Core character designed for in development sci fi space based game, Project Cold Fusion. 

Noir is a lone astronaut stranded in the remnants of the aftermath of a collision between two galaxies. Faint memories of his civilization and his life before remain. Armed with unique abilities, acquired through the energy of the collision, he journeys through the wreckage of the planets that once were , with the sole mission to bring back what he once valued most- Life.
